Sergey Lazarev Releases "Electric Touch" Today

So today sees the release of Sergey Lazarev's new highly-anticipated long player "Electric Touch" in Russia and like the dedicated fan-boy that I am, I am searching everywhere for a copy of it.  Yes, that is the album artwork above and in a press release issued just today, Sergey Lazarev had this to say about his new album which is being released in partnership with Sony Music.  (Translated from Russian)

"I have put my all into this album and this experience.  I spent a lot time, effort and money on this record and I am proud of the result.  This is truly a fashionable and current record for the times.  It should be in style for the next few years. "Electric Touch", without a doubt, is a new stage in my work."

Very cool - I can't wait to hear it obviously - new music from Sergey always just makes my day a little brighter!

So here it is, the new single from Sergey Lazarev called "Alarm".

Sergey Lazarev fans and general pop addicts will be happy to know that the new album "Electric Touch" is now slated for a late March 2010 release.

So what do you think of the new single?  Kinda punchy insn't it - I of course, love it.  But then again would you ever expect me not to love anything that "the laz" puts out...

And for those of you who are interested, team Lazarev have put up a new HQ video to "Lost Without Your Love" which is my favourite track from the first album and by far his sexiest video to date..he looks so young - saving girls from orgies and all that...

Sergey Lazarev Announces New Album "Electric Touch" - Listen To New Track "Heartbeat"

 

Sergey Lazarev has just announced that the title of his next album will be called "Electric Touch" which is also the title of one of the new songs that we exclusively revealed not too long ago here on EQ. 

With Sergey churning out the new tracks like "Lazerboy", "Stereo", "Find Me", "Electric Touch" and "Money On Love", it sounds like the new album is shaping up to be another hot pop gem.  This new track called "Heartbeat" just also made an appearance on the web which sees our Russian wonder boy taking on a One Republic type drum line in tempo.

Influential US radio DJ for Sirius XM - Larry Flick has also been regularly spinning classic Sergey hit "Everytime" too which makes me smile - it's about time the US heard of Sergey Lazarev.
