EQ Discovery: Molly Monroe

Many of today’s teen pop artists bleep up on our radars via the slew of reality TV outlets, but there are some names that rear up again and again through their conscientious hard work in promotion and gigging it from the get go, that go on to ensure that they become worthy of note.

One such name that I’ve picked up on is that of Warwickshire’s slip of lass Molly Monroe, who over the past year has been popping up regularly at jaunts all over the West Midlands and further afield, alongside some of the UK’s teen tipped new acts such as The Mend and The Loveable Rogues as seen on Britain’s Got Talent.

Molly may well be a miss teen thing - that is until she sings, sings, sings.  The youngster confidently reigns in a sleek RnB pop performance that cuts in a mere edge of youthfulness whilst snapping in a maturity that will readily appeal to the post teen market and urban pop hungry aficionados alike.

Who is Feature Cuts? You probably haven't heard about this talented guy as he is fresh meat in the scene. He is from Houston, likes dubstep and masks. you should love him. Period. Feature Cuts has remixed a song from Ellie Goulding's album Halcyon and I was anxious to check what FC has for us.

Figure 8 is indeed one of my favorite songs from Ellie's album Halcyon - It's dramatic meaning brought to you by Ellie's so-well-controlled voice make this electronic ballad a master piece. So why not take it to NEXT level? Feature Cuts has done his thing turning Figure 8 into a more powerful track along with killer dubstep mixes; always keeping the song profesional, clean, fun and flawless.

I’ve been all over this slamming electro funk infusion turned at the hands of Jersey boy three piece production team Cash Cash, over the past few days.

Cutting more than a dash of Justice fed in with just the merest whiff of Daft Punk  vocoding “Overtime” sells as a blissed out bombastic slice of synthesized EDM that shifts on the BPM with laser beam bounce and a roaring injection of disco diva presence to seal this rad boy out.

From touring alongside Cobra Starship to headlining their own sold-out tours in Japan and Brazil - “Overtime” comes in as a fresh free flavour topping in addition to the recent release of their 3^rd EP “The Beat Goes On”.
