For those of you who don't know - Antigone has flew the coup outta Londontown and has re-located to Sydney for the time being and we are missing her very much. EQ club nights just won't be the same without her - she reigned queen supreme at all of them. In her honour we are going to be playing some Antigone next Friday night at Underbelly, so make sure you are coming along!
However, before she moved, we did get to sit her down and interview her in the studio about every single album track from her incredible electronic triumph, "Antigoneland". Today we have the videos for her tracks "Hello Yellow" and "To Be Real". I love how she talks about having "crap" jobs in London - oh how we all have been there Tigs! Make sure to check out the "To Be Real" clip too where Tiggy talks about how she was inspired by Mr. Lars Von Trieer.
Antigone talks about the concept of "Antigoneland" from EQ Video
Two Antigone video's in one day. Lucky you!
In this video vignette, Antigone talks to EQ about the concept of the record and her thoughts on finally getting the record out and into your hands.
We don't just blog about pop stars, we talk to them too! EQ is committed to "digging a little deeper" and "getting closer" to generate original pop content that goes beyond the average pop waffling and news bytes so that you are always "in the know" from the artists themselves.
From the mega stars like Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert to the latest indie sensations like Bright Light Bright Light and Simon Curtis, to the electronica and pop pioneers like Imogen Heap and Erasure, to X-Factor creations like Joe McElderry and Shayne Ward, they all have contributed some great interviews to EQ.
