Lolene Officially Releases "The Electrik Hotel" And Announces New EP "She's Got A Pulse"

by Raj Rudolph

You can't keep a hot bitch down.

After an early version of Lolene's fantastic electro-pop album "The Electrik Hotel" leaked online and having gone through the classic "great pop album sat on a shelf" sceario with EMI, Lolene decided that it was time to reinvent herself and is full throttle on the up-an-up again.

Lolene has just announced a new EP entitled "She's Got A Pulse" and it is slated for a December release. You can bet we'll have our eyeballs peeled as we wait impatiently for new music from the talented and quirky songstress that brought us amazing pop tunes in way of "Sexy People", "Rich (Fake It Till You Make It)" and "Lion Heart".

As of now, you can finally get the full, completed version of "The Electrik Hotel" online on this link. All proceeds of the online album release will go to Lolene (not her former record label) and aside from enjoying one of the most underrated albums of pop from 2010, you'll also get a taste for why we think Lolene has always been one to watch in the world of pop.

Taylor Swift's RED Track-By-Track Album Perspective

Taylor swift

By Javi Lopez

Hello EQs all over the world. And Narnia. As you surely know, Taylor Swift's new album is OUT now and already slaying everybody in the charts. Taylor has come back snatching every wig, and no ratchet is safe. Mascara running down all over their faces describes it all. Yes.

Spent the week listening to the album, trying to figure out the songs and how to express it to you guys.

Here is what I think:

The album opens with State of Grace which didn't get my attention until patiently listened to the lyrics - As an album-opener, I was expecting more of an upbeat song such as 'I Knew You Were Trouble', But really though - this song makes it perfectly for the album. Guitar, background vocals and lyric-wise is perfect. The song speaks for itself, it's about falling in love and that amazing feeling of knowing that everything is finally going to work out. and following up on being in love, RED is telling the boy of your dreams how much you love him; how hard, impossible and stupid is the idea to forget him; how emotional and peaceful is to remember him. Red is that song you want to sing to the one that is everything you ever wished for.
