So Darren Hayes has commented to EQ about yesterday's "dumbing down of homosexuality" news story that ended up all over the interweb from the UK to Australia...

"That interview never occurred.  I haven't done press in over a year.  That is a tabloid piecing together quotes from I think three different interviews from a while ago.  All rather tacky in my opinion!"

Darren Hayes once again the subject of tabloid fodder.  If next week the tabloids report "Darren Hayes is pregnant with my two-headed alien stepmother"  - I won't be surprised one bit...
