If Alison Goldfrapp Could Crack A Smile - Meet Kovak

That's how NME describes new electro band Kovak who are set to make a splash with their new single "I Love The Dancefloor". The song kinda has that British rock vibe to it with a top heavy electro current that just screams head-bopping, iPod perfect music. Based in the creative landscape that is Brighton, Kovak are already well-known in their town for pioneering the electro movement in the form of their free club night "Club Novak" which I simply must check out very soon!

Take a look at the video for "I Love The Dancefloor" and if you like their sounds, you'll love some of the other electro gems (like "Electric City Lights") over on their MySpace or their official website. The single will be released on 9th October from the 7digital Indiestore.

If I had to compare them to someone, I might say Dragonette instead of Goldfrapp.
