MySpace Discovery: IAMX
Sure his eye makeup is a little scary and those boots of his could do some harm (let's just say we wouldn't want to get kicked with em) but electro/indie crooner Chris Corner aka IAMX, formerly of Sneaker Pimps fame, has a new album called 'The Alternative' that he wants you to listen to. You can get a taste of the album over at his MySpace page and if you really are intrigued, he has a whole list of gig dates where you can catch him doing what he does best on the road throughout Europe.
We actually are more than just a little intrigued, and if the below video for 'Spit It Out' is any indication of how potentially good his album may be, then hey, IAMX gets our music allowance this week. What do you think? Discuss in le comments and don't let the spider eyes scare ya.

I Am X is a great act and I love 'The Alternative'. You're a little late with this one though, as the album has been out for a long time now.
'Spit It Out' is the best moment on the album by far. Lovely.

Hi Maria and Fonda! Better late than never as they say ;) I've had him bookmarked for quite awhile, but only found time to listen just a few days ago. Glad I did as he's a welcome addition to the EQ roster of fucking cool artists.
