Veto Silver Have Split Up.
Promising new electro band Veto Silver have officially called it quits. We are saddened by this news as we really enjoyed the boy's last show at the Fly Bar. Ben from Veto Silver has issued a small statement below and is offering up a free download of their last demo recording 'Calling Of The Night'. EQ would like to wish the boys well and hope that we see them again sometime soon! We loved 'Stay Young, Stay Beautiful' and it's evident the boys knew how to put together some great electro pop.

Hey gang,
I'm afraid we've come to the mutual decision between us to call it a day. Thanks for everyone's support over the last few years.
I'll write a blog about why the band had to split soon, but just to let you know, tomorrow night's gig at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane will be our last one.
Also, the last song we ever recorded will be put up as a free download later tonight, 'The Calling of the Night'.
Thanks to all the members in Veto over the years. Dean, Charlie, Alex, Neal and Rik/Pat. They all brought something that helped define Veto.

Oh no! I really loved the songs by them I'd heard. I'm not too surprised, since I hadn't heard anything about them (except that you went to see them) recently, but still, a real shame. Hopefully some of them will continue in music...

Hi Poster Girl - Yeah I know what you mean. I thought they were a good band and had potential - hopefully we will see them again in another music project!
