Rumor - Lady Gaga Forced To Change Her Act For Royal Variety Show

 GagaPicksUpGown

So there's this rumour going around that Lady Gaga was forced to change her act for the UK Royal Variety Show - people are saying that she wanted to perform her "drenched in blood" routine but organizers got scared and ordered her to alter the performance.  I don't quite think this is true - I think Lady Gaga would have some respect for The Queen and not do something so shocking for this type of show - she's smart like that.  But regardless, we do have some photos of the performance in which we see our Lady of Gaga enduring the heat of a "blood red" rubber PVC outfit.  It's not fashion unless it's painful right?

After the jump, check out the video of Queen Gaga meeting Le Queen of England.

Lady Gaga - "Music Has No Money, It's Fucking Free!"

 52380_lady_gaga_v_magazine3_123_6lo

Lady Gaga made a very interesting statement on Friday during her live Monster Ball show in Montreal during a performance with Kid Kudi on "Poker Face".

"You know what music's about? Music is about bringing all people together. Music has f*cking no religion. It has no f*cking color. It has no f*cking genre. It has no politics. It has no money. It's f*cking free."

What's interesting to me is what she is potentially saying here about free downloading.  Does she really think music should be free?  I'm just curious to know what her real position is here as a notable artist who has achieved massive success as both a performer and a songwriter, but who struggled in the early days to get her music noticed.  Check out the performance here on this You Tube clip for yourself.

Live Review - Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour

Lady_gaga_monster_ball_tour

Canadians in Toronto were lucky enough to witness one of the first nights of Lady Gaga's new tour - The Monster Ball and roving pop reporter Will-W was there to catch all the action as it unfolded.  You can read the entire review over on Will-W's amazing blog - Pop Maven.  It's an interesting read most definitely and is already building a huge amount of excitement in me for when Our Lady of Gaga will bring the show to London's O2 Arena.

Will has also provided the following live clips of "Bad Romance" and "Monster" for EQ readers to enjoy!  It's like Blond Ambition all over again for the year 2010!

And here's some other YouTube clips I've dug up - more to come when I find them...
