EQTV - Watch "Baby Come Home" by Scissor Sisters

Well for one thing, I'm so glad that Scissor Sisters are back.  I just can't go on in a world without them and their brand new video for "Baby Come Home" only proves that their brand of feel-good pop rock still continues to strike a chord with all of us queers, queens, freaks, fairies and everyone else in-between.

What I love about "Baby Come Home" is it brings back a sense of nostalgia from the Scissor Sisters that we enjoyed from their first album in tracks like "Take Your Mama Out" and "Laura".  Sure, we love it when they get their kiki on in tracks like "Comfortably Numb" and "Shady Love", but when it comes down to some good ol fashioned rock and roll, there's nothing we love better than our Scissor Sisters going hard on a feel-good down-home rock jam - it also helps when Jake Shears puts on a sailor outfit while doing so as well.

Anywho - watch the video - it's great fun and I promise you this - you won't take your eyes off of this visual treat that only Babydaddy, Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and Del Marquis could offer up today.

EQTV - Watch "Wazabi" by Soldout

Soldout

The Belgium duo of Soldout are completely stirring my soul at the moment, with a scintillating slice of creatively spiky kinetic electronica.

Track in question "Wazabi" lives up to it's peppery name, with a sexy pulsating bassline pounding to a metronomically kept rhythm that's interspersed with a bleating wobble and fed with neon shards of glacial cool vox.

Charlotte (vox & keys) and David (synths, drumbox and computer prog) have an alluring unconvential but slinkily grabbing dance track at their hands in "Wazabi", right down to the dipped in glow sticks shiny video.

EQTV - Watch "Boomerang" by Bradley Johnson

By Mandy Rogers

For the most part, over the past few years I haven't exactly been in the loop with it fully on all the hits of misses of the primetime music / reality shows. So  It is with fresh ears that I visit Bradley Johnson

Once of X-Factor's own put together boy band, but now disbandoned Nu Vibe, Bradley comes across seemingly as fresh faced looking as Conor Maynard Bradley's first solo effort "Boomerang" is on the face of it perfectly pleasant sounding pop, albeit slightly average for a debut breakthough. I found it quite enjoyable nonetheless and although, not causing me to fold in big ripples of excitement, I think with a little bit more tayloring and performance experience Bradley could be in the running to produce a big wave of pop-a-licious boom at some time in the future.

Experience he might possibly begin to muster from appearing alongside the well versued in life after  X-Factor Olly Murs and the top flight of British boy bands The Wanted at Love Luton Live on July 6th & 7th.
