Parralox Gear Up For Massive Single Release

Cd_02_page_01b_300

Those Aussie Electro Wonder Kids - Parralox are gearing up for a massive single release in the way of "Sharper Than A Knife" - one of my favourite songs from their much-loved and highly-underrated "Electricity" album.  The limited edition single is being released through fab website Electronically Yours and will contain, 19 (yes nineteen) remixes!  Wowsa!  Talk about giving the fans everything!  Actually the band went through a mind-blowing 200+ remixes submitted to them for the single release and narrowed it down to just the 19 for the CD release.  The digital release will follow shortly as well and will also feature 19 remixes - some different for the digital version.

It pleases me to no end to see Parralox working so hard and getting their music out there.  They deserve all the success in the world and EQ is rooting for them all the way.  If you're a major label, you should be investing in this band...hint hint hint.

To find out how you can get your hands on the physical CD version and for all the nitty gritty details, click here.  But in the meantime, check out the song below as well and the little bonus video after the jump.

I really like this rear projection video the band use for their live performance of "Sharper Than A Knife". I think the band told me it's being used for the music video as well - but don't quote me, but the whole smoky, silky black cocoon thing kinda works for me...
